AMERICAN IDOL GOES POP SUPERSTAR LADY GAGA CRAZY
American Idol went crazy for Lady Gaga as the pop superstar was brought in to mentor the final four contestants. Gaga got hands on to give advice to the four hopefuls as they battled it out to land a place in the last three next week. At one point she even danced up on James Durbin as she tried to get more rhythm and sway into his
hips. Each contestant got to choose to perform a song they find inspirational, followed by a song written by the team of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. Hayley Reinhart sang Earth Song by Michael Jackson followed by I Who Have Nothing, while James Durbin sand Don't Stop Believing by Journey and Love Potion No. 9. Country singer Scotty McCreery tackled Alan Jackson's Where Were You When the Earth Stopped Turning and Young Blood. Teenager Lauren Alaina sang Martina McBride's Do It Anyway and the song Trouble.
